Biography

Andreas Samartzis holds a PhD in Public Law from the University of Cambridge Law School and is a legal adviser to the Secretary-General of Justice. He has legal experience in the areas of European Union law, administrative law, civil law and human rights law. He has served as a junior judge at the Constitutional Court of South Africa and has completed an internship at the Court of Justice of the European Union. His articles, case law comments and book reviews have been published in Greek and English legal journals, such as the European Constitutional Law Review, the Human Rights Law Review and the European Law Review. He speaks English, German and French.
